There is ample parking in front of Cement Loop studios.
Workshops
Art Workshops & Special Events are scheduled throughout the year. Once you purchase a workshop through this site, you will be enrolled. If you would like to enroll in a workshop that has been sold out, please contact me and let me know you would like to be put on a waiting list.
Due to limited class size, purchased spots for all workshops are transferable but payment is non-refundable. What this means: If you buy a class spot and are unable to attend, and if there is a waiting list of students that has formed, we will put you in contact with the first person on the list to whom you can offer your class spot. If the person on the list accepts, then that person will need to pay you for your spot and once that transaction is complete and both parties are satisfied, we will transfer your spot to the other person. If you are unable to attend and there is no waiting list, we will unfortunately be unable to provide refunds.
Emergency Cancellations
In the very rare event of an emergency or unavoidable natural disaster or act of God, the class may be cancelled. In this situation, all fees will be reimbursed to students in full.
Dining
There is a small kitchenette with microwave and refrigerator in the studio complex. Feel free to bring a lunch, if you like. There are also 3 dining options within 2 minutes walking distance from the studio.
- Hanks offers sandwiches, salads, bowls, coffee, tea.
- El Tacorrido offers inexpensive tacos and Mexican sandwiches.
- Domino's Pizza
Within a 5 minute drive, there is an HEB grocery store with to-go deli and a Cafe. Within the same shopping area, you will find the following restaurants:
- Xian Sushi and Noodles offers, you guessed it, hand pulled noodles & sushi
- Mod Pizza offers pizza and GF options
- Torchy's Tacos offers a fun variety of tacos and patio
- Juiceland offers fresh juices, smoothies and GF prepared food
- Starbucks
Lodging
The Studio does not provide lodging or ground transportation services. Several hotels within a 5-10 minute drive from the studio include the Embassy Suites by Hilton, Double Tree by Hilton, Holiday Inn, Crowne Plaza, Courtyard by Marriott, and Residence Inn by Marriott. There are also AirBnB options in the area. If you don't mind staying a bit further from the studio and want to stay in a super cute boutique hotel in the heart of downtown or on the east side, check out Hotel San Jose and Heywood Hotel.
Misc
There is no smoking allowed in the Studio.
Code Of Ethics
Students, teachers, staff, guests, and all volunteers will interact with one another with respect and consideration. Good conduct and good manners will be expected from all people who enter the Studio. Hateful, disrespectful or derogatory speech or behavior will not be tolerated and may be grounds for expulsion from the Studio.
